Student Field Trip
Hands-on learning
Service Description
Our working bee farm provides a safe, engaging, and faith-centered environment where students of all ages can experience hands-on agricultural education while gaining a deeper appreciation for honeybees and their vital role in our ecosystem. At the heart of our field trip experience is the Sadie Grace Farms Bee Barn, a specially designed learning space that allows groups to safely observe honeybees from behind secure screens and viewing areas. This setup provides an up-close look at live hives without direct contact, ensuring a safe and controlled environment for students, educators, and chaperones. Inside the Bee Barn, participants can watch bees at work, observe hive behavior, and learn how colonies function—all while remaining at a comfortable distance. This unique feature allows even younger students or first-time visitors to learn confidently and safely.
