SGF 2026 Beekeeping Apprenticeship Program Ready to go beyond the basics and truly learn beekeeping hands-on? Our NEW SGF Apprenticeship Program is a fully immersive, shadow-style experience designed for those who want real-world skills in the bee yard — not just classroom theory. 📅 March 1 – August 1, 2026 ✨ What’s Included: Bi-Monthly In-Person Classes (2 Saturdays per month) • 1 hour classroom instruction • 1 hour hands-on, immersive shadowing • Held at SGF Bee Farm in Lawn, Texas On-Farm Experience • Hive management & seasonal beekeeping • Real-time learning alongside experienced beekeepers Apprentice Perks • Official SGF T-Shirt • Copy of “For the Bees” by Tara Chapman Program Cost: • $150 per month • 6-month commitment required Who Should Apply? ✔️ Beginner to early-intermediate beekeepers ✔️ Hands-on learners ✔️ Anyone passionate about bees and sustainable agriculture Only 10 spots available — once they’re filled, applications close. 📍 Location: SGF Bee Farm - 7409 Hwy 84, Lawn, TX 79530 📆 Start Date: March 1 – August 1, 2026
