Children's Intro to Beekeeping

Children's Intro to Beekeeping is a presentation that will be modified for the learning level of that group. There will be equipment, tools, an observation hive if allowed, and much more. This will leave the students with a new found respect and love for honeybees. ----- Let's talk about pricing. Our presentations in Taylor County (30 minutes around Abilene) will be at a flat rate of $100. We will accommodate the time you allotted, from 30 minutes to 2 hours for the presentation. We are here to serve and spread the good news of Beekeeping and want to be as available as possible. We love having time for questions at the end, and Crissy will stick around for anyone who would like to speak with her one-on-one. The same applies to locations outside Taylor County or farther than 30 minutes from Abilene. However, an additional mileage fee of $40 will be charged for each half-hour away from Abilene. This is based on using the IRS Standard Mileage Rate in Texas for 2024 at $0.67 per mile. - 30 Minutes - Taylor County - $100 - Within 1 hour from Abilene - $140 - 1 1/2 hour - $180 - 2 hours - $220 - 2 1/2 hours - $260 - 3 hours - $300 If you have any questions or are farther than three hours, please do not hesitate to contact us.
